God has a particular grace for conflict resolution, a reconciling grace that virtually ensures it’s success. Let’s look at it.
Shame has been called “leprosy of the soul”. We will see how it drives us into hiding, how God heals it and how we can recover.
One of the first tactics in conflict resolution is to resolve it within yourself and then drop it…avoiding the conflict all together before it consumes you.
Conflict comes from within us. The key to resolving conflict is discovering what is MY problem with THE problem. The conflict generator we are going to look at is fear.
Our conflicts are “flesh wounds”. We get hurt from a word or an action from someone close to us and we react to protect our interest. We’re gonna see a better way.
Resolving conflicts requires knowing what you are fighting about. What is the real problem? Attack the problem…not the person.
Unresolved conflict is the destroyer of relationships. Period. We’re gonna learn how to resolve them.
