Some times the only thing that works is to die

There is a new movie out that asks a question…“If you were convicted for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?” There is some real talk from the cross that settles the matter.

A Son on the eve of his greatest work asks his Father to make his work count. He asks His Father to protect his friends, fill their lives with joy and to convince them all of His love.

You’ve heard it said of a grieving son: “I still hear my father’s voice, advice, and his loving counsel even though he’s not here.” When Jesus is says He is leaving, He takes the ‘real talk’ to a whole other level.

Jesus said “I’m leaving but you will still feel me, know I’m here, and I’ll still be leading and guiding you.” How? Does it ever really feel real?

For the weeks leading up to Easter, we will be looking at the last words of Christ and how He backed them up.
